  1. How would I know?

I haven't seen any in AGES.

Why don't you start one and find out?

  2. They are effective though the results are not as permanent as the protesters would like. The decision to set up something more permanent to stop wars if these are the types of protests meant would rests with Governments and with enough pressure applied The Human Right To Peace could become a Right. The website to this idea can be found in The Constituition online. The idea is to add this to The Constituition as a Right.  The Human Right To own the planet and conserve resources as part of  something people want but protest they do not have might work. The chant Earth is for everyone.

  3. Sometimes.

Air traffic  Controller strike was a bust, so were the anti-war protests before Bush led us into Iraq.

But they certainly hastened the end of Viet Nam, brought about civil rights legislation, and the history of labor unions is full of successful strikes.

Web sites?  google civil rights, labor unions, PATCO, etc
