  1. Ah, resson of rife, Gwasshoppa!!!  You can only be taken advantage of if you allow such!!! lol:)

Yes, you may find that your position warrants the gritty ends of the job...you do not have any seniority, nor is your position a perminent part of the work force as a whole.  However, you can learn much from being bottom of totem pole...you get to see the bigger picture of the all of it, if you watch & listen--perminents tend to fall into 'comfort zones' & no longer see these things.  You have the opportunity to become 'experienced' in the job market, make a few bucks you didn't have before, be challenged by dealing with management/staff situations...and by doing your best, even if it's washing dishes, allows you to reflect a person they might like to attract back for the following summer, or for during vacations, etc., and keep you in their minds for more responsible postions as that occurs.

Remember the first part up there, keep your brain & ears in gear always, and your mouth open only when necessary--don't fall into the 'gossip trap'...and you may not always enjoy what you do, but if you enjoy how you do it, you are well on your way to becoming a great person.

    Good Journey!!!

  2. I suppose that as in any job, some are, but for the most part, they are treated like any other employee, despite the fact that most don't work all that hard.

  3. no they get attracted towards money and deviate from studies

  4. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  Students need summer jobs to continue their learning experience before they really get out into the world and find out how mean or cruel some people can be.  People manipulate, take advantage, of, and use other people.  It is true, believe it or not.  Take summer work as a learning experience and build off that....really.
