Are sturgeons rare to find? please answer ASAP

Are sturgeons rare to find in the US because a fishstore was selling small ones for like 10 dollars each. If they are rare i need to race over to the fishstore and get me one :]

no they are found everywhere in country towns with lakes

Sturgeons are uncommon but not THAT rare. They can be found in many areas of freshwater habitats. the only reason why it's hard to find one in the aquarium trade is because they grow to over 5 meters and at that size, finding it a home is a task too great for the average (sometimes even the most experienced aquarists) aquarist.
