  1. No. Japanese. <}:-})

  2. subaru the company is owned by fuji heavy industries and toyota,in the last few years alot of them have been made on american soil ,by american hands at  the indiana plant.

  3. japanese car , like the lancer EVO .

  4. they are put together in indiana. but for the most part foriegn.

  5. Subaru is a Japanese company but many of the models sold in the U.S. are made here in the U.S. The Legacys and it's SUV brethren, the Tribeca for example, are made in Lafayette, Indiana while the Impreza and it's SUV brethren, the Forester is made in Japan. More then 90% of the Legacy and Tribeca's parts are made here and they are assembled here in the U.S. as well. Because of this, they are classified as domestic vehicles.

  6. Like these peeps said, Subaru is a Japanese company. The LHD versions are assembled in america, but the RHD models are not. You cannot say it is an american car just because some japanese robot was told to build it. Honda's european cars are made in england, but it is not an english manufacturer and the EU civic is not an english car.

  7. No their HQ is in Otta Gunma, Japan

  8. All Subaru parts are from Japan, however many are assembled at the Indiana plant in the US.  Id call it an American car, 90% of our **** is made in Japan who cares, they are smart people over there.  At least they are employing thousands of American workers between service, sales, manufaturing, transportation and everything else.  And anything thats awsome we like to claim as ours, and Subaru falls into that category, so lets just call it American, but with value.

  9. no. u can notice th name duzent sound lik an American brand.  most of their carz ar j*p. they bild gud carz.

  10. JAPAN!

  11. Japenese!!!

  12. no.  and until recently they were all made in Japan as well unlike the honda, toyota and nissan's that you buy.  you can tell really easily where any car sold in the US was made.

    look at the VIN number in the windsheild (drivers side on the dash from the outside).  the first number identifies where the car was made (nation)

    1,5 = US

    2    = Canada

    3    = Mexico

    J, 4 = Japan

    K    = Korea  (i think)

    all other letters and numbers signify something european.

  13. No - Japanese.

    Good luck...

  14. they are Japanese

  15. Parts are from Japan but they are Assembled in America.

  16. Nope - Japanese, and they are excellent cars.
