  1. The studies that showed that UV is detrimental to eyesight blasted rats eyes with 10,000 times normal UV and was sponsored by sunglass manufacturers. Not that sponsored studies are bad, just that they can be biased. They didn't take into account the three degrees of UV and that only one of them has a degrading effect.

    Jacob Liberman: Author of Light: Medicine of the Future, found that light was necessary nutrition. He found that the eyes channelled some light back to the pineal gland. The body uses this to regulate metabolism. Sunglasses can put us into a permanent winter condition.


  2. i read something like this before, but it was i think bec. all the bad radiation focuses one spot in the sun glasses so that is why  it supposed to be damaging but i'm not 100% sure if this is true.
