Are switchblades illegial in Canada?

I live in Ont. and I just want to know if they are Illegial.

Guest 7704 is wrong, there are NO laws restricting blade length in Canada.  That is up to the arresting officer.  For instance, if you are hunting in the woods, a bowie knife with a 12" blade would not be an unreasonable tool to possess.  Carrying that same knife in downtown Toronto is not as reasonable.  If you were arrested and were found to be carrying that knife, the officer could charge you with carrying a concealed weapon.
