Are tankinis allowed in swimming pools? ?

Well i used to be pretty good at swimming, i love it but i gave it up "/ Now im really concious bowt my weight and wont be seen in swimming costume but i want to take up swimming again. So are tankinis allowed in UK pools cuz if they are im going to go swimming =D

i dont see why they wouldnt be. im not from the UK, but in america, they are definetely allowed.
