  1. I would have to know the entire situation to make a judgement call on this one.  I spend the first few weeks of school learning each one of my students and how to handle each one.  As a teacher, I treat each student differently to get the best out of each one.  If the one student that was going wild doesn't normally act this way, then yes I would show extreme concern towards that student.  The other student might act like that on a daily basis and the teacher sees it as "normal behavior."  It all depends.

  2. not necessarily, if the one student is acting abnormally then i wouldnt see why the teacher wouldnt show concern especially if the other kids always acted that way.....

  3. Yes, definitely as part of being a professional you need to push through any personal prejudices and treat your students with fairness and consistency....

In my classroom, there are children who get on my nerves that I want to just leave them to it and not worry about them...but as a professional I need to find ways to facilitate their learning...

If a teacher is concerned for a child this is good, but they must balance their time to ensure that all the children in the class are given some of your time...this is the challenge for teachers...as we are often time poor
