It depends on who the other teacher is.  If the other teacher is old, ugly, of the opposite gender of the teacher in question, or has a reputation for being mean, probably.  If the other teacher is young, attractive, and popular, probably it would be a compliment!

No, I call my students by other students' names all the time.  The wires just get crossed in the brain sometimes.

If you do it every day for a semester, probably...if it's a one-time thing, nope.

Heck, there are times parents call me by the wrong name :)  It's not a big deal
