Are teachers only responsible for the studenst who are failing?????

i am confused help me wid some opinions of urs....

 I reckon its the students fault even though i am currently studying at school. For example if i had a rubbish teacher i could work outside of school, go to libarys, get support from parents or other teachers but NO some students decide to let it slide and sit back and relax. Those who try to make an effort they are the ones doing well in there tests but those who keep quiet well when exams come they wont understand anything as they didnt ask for help or support before. So basically its Our fault along with the parents
