  1. A few years ago I worked with a teacher whose sister and brother-in-law moved to Alaska.  She taught and he was a principal at a school that was K-12.  They only stayed 3 years because they couldn't take the severe winters, but they were begged to stay because it would be so hard to replace them.

    So I think you'd have a very good chance of being hired.  If you think you'd like it I say go for it.  It would certainly be an adventure.
