  1. If it continues - look into his sleep routine (could just be tired) or his diet. Maybe sugary things are causing the behavioral issues. It could also be an allergy.

My daughter was allergic to soy and dairy. Soy made her vomit, dairy made her have full blown tantrums, which she had zero control over - she was just on the floor kicking and screaming. Once we cut dairy out, she was like the golden child. It was crazy. I know some kids are allergic to environmental things too - maybe it's something at the daycare? If it continues, get him allergy tested.

  2. Every person (child) has different levels of intellectual and emotional maturity. Childrens brains are physically not able to reason like adults so they tend to rely on their emotional intellegence.  Some children are simply slower to develop.  Practice and drill proper behavior with rewards for desired action.  So, remember not to treat the child like a little adult - because they are not.

I'd have to know much more about what the kid is like at home before giving a better answer.  Good luck.

  3. This is very normal. You can't really break this. You just have to punish him when he does things like this so he knows that he shouldn't behave like that. Eventually, he'll snap out of it.

  4. Its normal. He probably isn't the only child who did this. Preschool is a new routine for him and he will adjust. I wouldn't punish him at home for that behavior. Many kids have been in day care and learned those lessons. Some haven't and he is one of them.

You can talk to him in the car about how he is in school now and school supplies stay in school and he can play with them again tomorrow. Explain that with so many kids there, its important that everyone pick up after themselves so there won't be a terrible mess. Other than that, let the teacher deal with it. Once he sees that its the same for everyone he will adjust and take pride in pleasing his teachers.
