Are tender breast a sign of pregnancy and how long does it last?

Mine have been hurting for about three weeks or so have any of you had brest tenderness for such a long time before your period came or could be leaning more towards a period?

It is a symptom of pregnancy, but also a symptom of PMS. My b***s hurt for the two weeks before my period. You could get a test just to check it out.

No  !  But if you man is leaving town without telling you.  That is a sure sign !

well you dont have to be pg if your b***s are tender that can happen even if your on your period. i was pg and they were tender the whole time. but take a test first to find out....

It could be either one. Mine were very tender when i didn't know i was pregnant like the first month or so. Another sign is if they have grown a significant amount in only a few days. Try a pregnancy test if your concerned. I mean it could always be just normal signs that your about to start your period.

3 weeks is a long time, you could possibly be pregnant..... take a test, if you are pregnant it will only get worse in tenderness

I would take a pregnancy test. Thats how I know something was up. My breast were swollen to the touch. It hurt so bad to take showers with the water hitting on them. AH it was bad. But that is a sign of pregnancy so as I said I would take a pregnancy test.

My breast were usually a little bit tender before my period, but I knew something was going on because they were never that tender and all.
