so, the fire and water are anti elements to each other. and earth (soil) also.Non-friendly signs to each other.

So, Aries never compatible with Earth and Water sign as they are anti elements to each other.

The whole chart plays a role. The Sun sign can mean very little when judging compatibility. Also, just because two people don't always see eye to eye doesn't mean that they can't learn from their differences. In fact, being with someone who handles things differently than you do can help you grow as a person.

Edit: From real experience, I know an Aries and Virgo that have a very strong bond with each other.

I'm a Virgo sun and I get along with Aries great. It might be because my rising sign is Aries. Or because of my leo moon but me and Aries are always on the same page.
