  1. heck yes!!!!!!!

  2. h**l YA!!!!!

  3. I already thought they were the team to beat before. I dont see a significant change between Kotchman and Texiera but good enough.

  4. they were before when they had Kotchman.

  5. Right now, no question at all...Casey Kotchman is a very good 1st baseman offensively and defensively but Teixera is an elite player that can only make the Angels' lineup that much more potent to go with a pitching staff that is second to none...

  6. They are without a doubt the team to beat in the AL. Just look at their pitching, Garland, Santana, K-Rod, Shields, Weaver, Lackey, and when they get Kelvin Escobar back the rotation will be flawless along with a great bullpen which is needed to close out any game (Just ask any Tigers fan). The bats are great with Vlad, Texeira, Hunter, Matthews Jr, and Garret Anderson can still hit as well. Then you have youngsters like Howie Kendrick, Chone Figgins and Erick Aybar who can all contribute. This lineup is loaded 1-9 with a great bench as well. O yea on defense you may be looking at the greatest defensive outfield baseball has ever seen. 71 percent of the earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by the Angels outfield of Hunter, Vlad, and Matthews Jr. I think any baserunner trying to score from second on a single will think twice before trying to run on these three. With AL West being weak this year they will have plenty of time to rest up before the playoffs start. Playoff baseball can bring some wild things come October, but as of right now the Angels are an overwhelming favorite to win it all.

  7. they were always strong, so its not like just because angels got tex things are going to be better.

i think its a great addition and for a 2 month rental i think he'll definitely help us out. I don't know what's going to happen during the offseason though..

i loved watching kotchman play, people don't seem to think it was a fair trade.. saying that braves got the short hand of the stick... well that's wrong, kotch is a good player defensively, patient at the plate, good with RISP, can hit against lefties

i'll be checking out on the braves more often ;)

  8. A definite yes!

  9. I thought they were before but this definatley is one of the most feared line ups in baseball.

  10. i just want to jump up and down now that this happened!!!

    2002 all over again!!!!!!!!!

they have to go all the way this year, who can stop then.  Not boston, it won't happen this year because we own them this year, home AND away!

  11. I thought they were the team to beat before they got texaria now they are just adding wood on the fire

  12. Before the trade they were the most solid team in baseball. Now they're just sick.  Definately the team to beat if anyone has a World Series trophy in their sights.

  13. Yes, especially since he doesn't have to fill the hole of anyone good.

  14. Without a doubt! Go Angels!

  15. They already were and definitely will be in the playoffs, but adding him just made them even better.

  16. no question. Yes, because when you have a great pitching such as John Lackey almost throwing a no-no, Santana, and a great bullpen with Shields, Arradondo, and K-Rod. Then you have great batters with Vladdy, Hunter, Figgins, Mathews Jr., and Napoli. Then you had a another great bat who is possibly the most underated player and most consistant. He will give you better than a .300 average, 30+ HR's, and easily 100+ RBI's. The angels were the team to beat by beating Boston 2 days in a row, and now add Teixiera. Best team in the MLB.
