Are the Baudlaire orphans real??

I did some research on Wikipedia and it said he knew the parents,went to school with Count Olaf and that the Baudlaire orphans are real children. I'm really confused can someone please help me.

No they're fictional. Anyone with an account can write anything on Wikipedia. I once read about my old elementary school and read it shut down after the children in it were attacked by mutant dolphis with clubs. Hope I helped! :)
