Or are they like SKA and BAL which are not touching because they have Denmark in the middle?

  1. No.  In order to get from the Black Sea to the Aegean Sea (or vice versa) you need to move through Constantinople.  It is exactly as you have described for the Baltic Sea and Skagerrak with Denmark.
