  1. Puerto Rico is a U.S. Territory.  St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix make up the U.S. Virgin islands.

The others are either their own country or a couple make up a country (like Antigua and Barbuda) or part of the West Indies or part of the British Virgin Islands, etc.

  2. Perish the thought!

The only US islands are Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

  3. HELLLL NO!

Most of the caribbean islands were former Spanish, English, French and Dutch colonies, but today the majority are their own independant nations. The only exeptions are:

French Territory-Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint Martin & St Barts

    Dutch-Sint Maarten, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire

U.S.-Puerto Rico, St Thomas St John and St Croix

U.K.- Anguilla, Tortola, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands, Virgin Gorda, Bermuda (technically not caribbean, but similar culture)

  4. No, the Caribbean Islands are not part of the USA. The region is located in the North Atlantic Ocean. (just southeast of North America)

However, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are territories of the USA. They are located in the Caribbean Sea and are part of the Caribbean Islands region.

I hope this answers your question)

  5. No they are part of North America but not the U.S. The only commonwealth of the U.S. in the Carribean is Puerto Rico.

  6. No.
