    Some Chinese are in the six foot range

    During the Vietnam War the U.S. troops were able to spot the Chi-Com advisors by their height

    I have met some very very small Mexican men lately

    Height has a lot to do with pre natal , post natal  and pre adolescent nutrition

    Countries with higher poverty rates and less natual resource readily available to the population have smaller people

  3. Not even close.  There are some countries in South America where (largely the indigenous populations) are tiny.  And I'm sure you've heard of pygmies in Africa.  

    Height relates to many factors, but largely nutrition and protein levels.  I heard once that if things are optimal a society grows on average one inch per hundred years.  I just read something that said one of the Nordic countries was currently in the lead, don't remember which (Norway, Sweden, Denmark one of those)
