  1. No. the goat is finally starting to wake up and say ive got to stop them. And whats so great about Zmbrano. he isnt at the top in any pitching categories. and the only thing he knows how to do well is show his anger in the worst possible ways like breaking a bat over his knee(great way to get hurt) and hitting a gatorade cooler

  2. I hope not

But now the Cubs are getting ready for the playoffs because pinella he'going to b resting Zambrano,Harden, and Dempster

but i just the cubs don't get too comfortable right now

they still need to win atleast 10 more games

to clinch a playoff spot in my opinion

  3. i hope not, i want the cubs to go far. its a change of pace

  4. cubs are for real if Zambrano gets act together. He needs an extended rest.

  5. Dude, the Cubs have a team OBP of .359 which ties them for 1st place in the MLB with the Red Sox. Now, The Cubs in 2nd place with 743 Runs scored only behind the Texas Rangers with 756.

Now, .356 is a baserunner every inning at the least. What if every inning the Cubs would get the hit to score that baserunner? They would average 9 Runs per game. Fact is, you are not always gonna get that big hit.

The Pitching Staff has a team ERA of 3.75 Behind Toronto and Tampa for 3rd in the MLB. This means that the Cubs only allow an average of 4 runs per game teamwise.

Now let me break this down for some of the idiots on here. If the Cubs always got that big hit and scored that runner every inning they would be undefeated right now with a record of 137-0. So how the h**l is getting people on base and not pushing them in a tease?

  6. no

  7. no/ they can not win every game just good percentage

  8. Phillies is a good team as well if you are talking about last weekend. It is a very hard team to pitch to but it is not impossible. It is just one difficult weekend and once Cubs’ pitchers make some adjustment in the final 2 weeks, they should be able to hold any line up.

Cubs will face D-Back anyway if the playoffs start today. We will see the result of CC and Ben Sheet to see if the Phillies can be pitch to or not if they can make to playoffs.

I believe the Mets can be pitched to though. If Cubs meet the Mets in the playoff, the big three should not have much to problem unless Johan Santana can outpitch them somehow.

  9. They will win the division --only because it is weak !!!!

    They will go no further-
