Question:

Are the Democrats here showing which party is really sexist?

First Obama is able to shut out the much more popular Hillary, Then all his supporters attack the choice of Palin as VP.

The funny part though is the way they try to spin it so that it's the Republicans that are sexist and the selection of Palin proves it. What bizzaro universe spawns these types?

  1. Democrats act like they 'discovered' women and black people. So, if a Republican chooses a woman, it's a 'cynical ploy' to attract women to the party. And, of course, no self-respecting woman would be a conservative like Sarah Palin. I guess she just has to trade in her uterus because she's pro-life.

Um, you know, when Clinton and Obama were running, Democrats were actually debating who "DESERVED" the nomination more. I actually heard questions like, "Have women or black people been wronged more in American history?" - as if that matters at all in a presidential race. Democrats are race baiters. They pander. They offer programs ($$$) for votes. They play identity politics. That's why it's so hilarious that they're all worked up about this pick. Democrats are the master manipulators when it comes to race and gender issues. If he'd picked a man, they would have complained that he didn't pick a woman. You just can't win.

  2. He didn't "shut out" anyone.  He beat her in a series of fair elections.

McCain's choice of Palin is sexist because he chose her for no other reason than she is a woman.  She brings nothing to the ticket except her uterus.  Her views are 180 degrees from Hillary and it is sexist on McCain's part to think that Hillary voters will flock to him simply because he has a woman on the ticket.

Personally I love the fact that McCain selected for VP someone who is being investigated by her own legislature for possible abuse of power.

  3. Talk about knawing your leg off to get out of a trap , Hillary was the woman as long as she was their woman she was ok .Palin is 100x's the woman and she intimidates them .

  4. I agree with you.

I think we need to take the high road..as well.

I can tell you I was never a Hillary supporter...but I also found the big fat republican commentator, Rush Limbaugh, extremely offensive with his Hillary bashing... That was all he ever talked about..I felt he hated her mostly because she was a woman...

So I'm glad for the female VP candidate...only to promote some diversity in the party.

    ABOUT time.

But she was not picked on gender...alone.

Back to the question, yeah the dems always attack the republicans based on gender and race,...because they are trying to position themselves to win.

Anyone women bashing is going to get my hackles up. It is not a gender issue. Look at the qualification and be very careful.

I would never vote for Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi...or any other nit wit. It is their economic beliefs that interest me. I am pro choice..but I don't vote for candidates based on that.

  5. socialist europe

that's their goal, it always has been, to make us socialist Europe!

  6. relax, we have no need to be like them. let them play their little mind games and name calling. let's try to be the party that takes the high road.

accusing people of being sexist and racist just keeps it alive.
