Are the Flyers guaranteed a Cup Victory?

If you think about it, after Vinny Prospal left Tampa, the next year Tampa won. Then he left Anaheim, and the next year Anaheim won. If the Flyers lose Prospal, are they guarenteed the Stanley Cup? Lol.

  1. If only it were that easy!

  2. Then why didn't the freaking Lightning win last year!!!  They came in DEAD last.  You theory is cute, but way wrong, pumpkin.

  3. Before they win a cup they need to develop a little fiscal responsibility. They are $4MM over the cap and no easy quick fix. Such as Chicago does of sending Khababulin to Rockford. Good luck.

  4. It's obviously just a coincidence, but I think the Flyers do have a good chance anyways.

  5. They will not beat Pitt so h**l NO

  6. >=0 I love Prospal, bring him to Pittsburgh and I bet you we'll win! haha, nah no Cup for Philly next season =)

    Watch them win too hahaha

  7. Sorry, no guarantees in sports.  They will have a very good team but I just don't see anyone beating Detroit.

  8. Riiiight.  Keep telling yourself that.

  9. they can if they play hard. but if flyers play detroit in the finals i dont really think the flyers have a chance

  10. How can you guarantee a cup victory for any team?  Even the Detroit Red Wings, I am sure they are favored to win the cup in the '08-'09 season, but you can't guarentee they will win.  And you are talking about the Flyers of all teams??  I think Tampa and Detroit will make the finals this upcoming season.

  11. If I use your theory. Then The Panthers would have won a cup by now. Vinny played with us as well. Though the Flyers will be strong.I do not think a cup is guaranteed to anyone at all.

  12. No.  But it would be funny if they did win.  Their team sucks though.  LOL.  If they sign someone good, maybe the Curse of Prospal will live on.

  13. I doubt it, but hey I guess anything is possible right?

Maybe thats not a coincidence, now I am going to have to watch out for that.

  14. YES!!!! OK got all my money out of the bank and heading to Vegas.I see no flaws in your plans.Anybody that doesn't do this is a sucker.

Finally me, Lubers and Awesome Bill will be able to die in peace.

  15. LOL. You know, I never thought about that. Lets hope.

  16. Great observation!

I'll be 48 in August and doubt that Stanley Cup #3 will happen in my lifetime - even if I see birthday #100.
