  1. A movie is hardly ever as good as the book of the same name.  The plot will typically be the same, but the movie may add scenes that did not actually happen in the book, and will certainly leave out many scenes that did happen in the book.  The book is always far more detailed with better character development, plot, etc. A movie cannot portray everything that happens in the book.  It will give the main events, but a great deal will be left out.

I have not read this novel, but there are a number of online study guides, and quite a few other resources on the web that can help you with this question.  Most of them have quite a bit of good information.  Have a look at these, and you should get some help with your work.  If you do a search you will find many other links.  .
