Let's get something straight, there is no team that is the best. The Hornets are considered one of the best teams around. They rank among the elite teams in the west. The Hornets have a good team are are diffenately a championship team. Everyone is saying the Lakers are the best team, now that is just wrong. They have the best dynasty if anything but they don't currently have the best team. Even though the Hornets have a good team, we still have to wait and see what is going to happen to them, if they are going to win a ring or not.

one of them, the lakers are the team to beat this coming year since theyre the defending western conference champs.  you cant become the best until youve proven that you are and the lakers did that by winning the west last year.

lakers can get 5th seed this coming year and they would still be the team to beat as long as they keep their core players and avoid serious injuries to their main players.
