  1. Jews or Israelis are happy of course, but their Zionist leaders not.... those orders are coming from their lobbies in the states, cause they are afraid of a total collapse, and the states are busy in their business now, so the Zionist plan is delayed for 6 months now.

  2. Of course, mark.  I hope you are happy as well.

    EDIT: I hope so too!

    Thanks for asking.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; }

  3. Israel tried hard to fail the agreement for as long as it could.

It was the US who forced them to approve what was agreed upon earlier without additional terms or conditions.

  4. This will end up just like it did the last time.

Hamas is totally untrustworthy and as soon as they have rebuilt their stores we will be right back where we were.

In the meantime isn't it great we don't have to hear about death and destruction for a while.  I hope.

  5. NO!!!

do you think it will help?! it won't!

first of all Hamas has our soldier - Gilad Shalit.

second of all Hiazbulla have our two soldiers.

do you think we're happy?? our soldiers in the hands of terrorists. how?

and for you info, if the Hamas wanted the ceasefire, he had a reason. that's just my opinion but, it's not because they're nice. trust me - they're not

  6. At this point, yes. All they have ever asked for is to live in peace. They would be happier if there were less small breches of the peace, but this is a start.

  7. Those who see only the short term are happy.

The IDF Military Intelligence director Brig. Amos Yadlin said: "I told you so."

Shin Bet director Yuval Diskin reported more smuggled arms from Sinai were reaching Gaza in the first 72 hours of the Israel-Hamas truce, and Palestinian combat training had been stepped up.  Mahmoud Abbas’ rival Fatah had taken a serious beating.

Justice minister Prof. Daniel Friedman called the Israel-Hamas truce deal “a first-class strategic blunder.”  He condemned the decision to reopen the crossings, especially the Rafah border terminal on the Egyptian border, without obtaining the captured Israel soldier Gilead Shalit’s release, as “mayhem” in governance.

In tones of “I told you so,” Israel’s military intelligence (AMAN) director, Brig. Amos Yadlin reported Sunday, June 22, the Gaza truce in force since Thursday had fulfilled all Hamas goals: ending the siege, opening the door to international recognition of the terrorist group and a permit to continuing building up arms.

In his briefing to the Knesset foreign affairs and security committee, Brig. Gen. Yadlin warned that the Palestinian fundamentalists were now advancing on their next objectives, the West Bank takeover a year after their coup in Gaza, followed by the whole of Israel.

The intelligence chief assured the committee that Israel had offered no guarantee to withdraw from Golan for the sake of the indirect negotiations launched with Syria through Turkey’s good offices last month.

  8. I hope people are happy longrun.  It'd be nice to have a real and lasting peace, not just a cease fire.

Johny, very good. Hamas during last negotiation with Egypt claimed only a "tactical calm" not an actual cease fire:

"...the tahdiah is a tactical means. It is a step within the resistance and is not detached from it. It is only natural for any resistance movement, which cares about the interests of its people, to bear in mind the general Palestinian condition. At times, it generates an escalation, and at times, it withdraws a little. It is a process of ebb and flow, going up and down. This is how you run a battle. Hamas is renowned for this. In 2003, we began a tahdiah, and later renewed the operations. The same thing happened following 2005. Hamas conducted resistance from within the government, as well as when it was not in the government. This is a method of conflict management."  Hamas leader Khaled Mash'al, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on April 25, 2008
