Are the Kangaroos staying in Victoria?

I'm not Australian, but I heard rumours that the Roos would move to QLD. Is that off for good now?...

  2. They are staying in Victoria for now.  Many see this as a bad move and that the move to Gold Coast was the last chance to save the club.

    I really don't see why they didn't bite the bullet and move already.  They dropped "North Melbourne" from their name and now they are just the "Kangaroos" (of no fixed abode, I guess).  They had toyed with the idea of moving to Sydney or Canberra some years back.  Perhaps they will move to Sydney.  They'll be around for a couple more years, but past that, it's hard to say.

  3. as u know they were offered to get transferred to the gold coast but they disagreed and they are staying in victoria.

    They knocked back a chance to survive. No loss though.

  5. The Kanga's will eventually fold, nothing is more certain, the AFL, pig headed as they are, will not give them another chance to go to QLD.

    had their chance, gone now, sad for traditional footy fans but what can you do, they didn't want to go and who can blame them really, but they just don't have enough supporters, facts are facts.

  12. i really wish it would just stay how it is because fans get confused and loose interest. i know its a bit rough coming from me (freo supporter) because we 'inturded' 12 years ago but we didnt force anybody out of our home ground.

    i think the biggest mistake was trying to change it at all..
