With a new coach in Mike D'antoni, and since they're in the east, any chance of them making the playoffs?

  1. highly unlikely but if he aquired a home run hitter like kirk hinrich to be the next steve nash then it might be possible

  2. No. Nobody can turn the Knicks around.

  3. Not too sure.  D'Antoni's a good coach, and the players are pretty good if you look at their stats and ignore the catastrophe of last season (not easy).  Still, they're talking about trading Jamal Crawford, they traded Balkman for peanuts, they're threatening to throw away Zach Randolph (is a 20 pt. 10 rebound guy really worse than Eddy Curry who was so overweight last season that Isiah could only play him for 10 minutes in the opening quarters of games and even then it was too much), they're ready to give the reigns to a backup point guard when an uninjured and happy Marbury (as long as he can run) can lead them to the playoffs.  Ignore the media's self-serving perspective and look at the players.  Still...the one nail in their coffin is defense and D'Antoni's idea of defense during his Phoenix days was to run faster.  I think they will make it into the playoffs, but if they wanna hit the Finals they should release Jared Jeffries, Jerome James, and Malik Rose or trade them for Marbury's 2003 legs.

  4. Who cares! Since that referee was convicted of fixing playoff games, the NBA has lost its credibility...that is a pity because basketball WAS my favourite sport.

  5. no

    never

  6. no.

  7. no, because they have a bunch of selfish scrubs like marbury, crawford, robinson, jeffries, and randolph.  This team is up for an overhaul over the next few years as these huge contracts expire.

  8. they should but they will probably find some way to s***w this season up.

  9. no, they r a team with no future

  10. god i hope so, it's been soo long since the knicks have really done anything and i always love when teams that come from nothing go on to the playoffs and do really frickin good. lets hope for the best!!!

  11. They will be The Most Surprising Team in The East. With Players like Crawford, Robinson, Chandler, Lee, Duhon, Gallinari, Q-Rich and a Great Coach in Mike Dantoni they should be a 7th or 8th seeded Team. Last year they were Distracted by on and off The Court issues.

  12. nope, they will come close but just not make it

  13. No. They need more than just D'antoni. He's a good coach but the team still needs more time. Knicks is still rebuilding and will be a good team for the future.
