Are the Lakers really that good?

i don't know if Andrew Bynum will be healthy next year... and even if he does stay injury-free, how much of a difference will he make? i mean, the Lakers lost by 39 points in the Finals. just adding Bynum won't make us better than the Celtics. i think our guys are too soft unless we trade for Artest. any comments?

Please go be depressed for another team better yet become a celtics fan that way you will be happy. Resiliant die hard lakers fan like myself don't need bandwagonner loser stinkin up the Lakers name. The Lakers will come back stronger and better next year while those loser cuntecs are 1 and done. Remember the lakers were only 2 wins away from a championship they acheived something 14 other teams couldn't so don't diminish by whining about a trade THAT WON'T HAPPEN!.

You are insane for saying that Bynum won't make the Lakers better than the Cetlics. The Lakers only gave up 91 ppg with Bynum and about 105 without him. That's a huge ******* difference.

If Bynum pans out this year, it will greatly help the Lakers. What they lacked in the finals was a consistent inside presence. With someone of Bynum's size posting up on Perkins and Gasol posting up on KG, they would have been more difficult to guard.

yes the Lakers are that good, The Celtics were just Better.  Ron Artest is a BEAST, but i think the WARRIORS need him more.  I think Kobe can do it with the squad he has now (plus bynum).

Raider33, Celtics traded for two guys and that mean they bought their team?  Lakers traded for Gasol, Odom, Kobe.  That's more then two so Lakers bought their as well.  I can see you are still upset about the 39 points stump by Celtics.  LOL.

Of course, they were in the Finals. Bynum WILL be healthy, Kobe will be better than ever because of the way they lost. They won't be better than the Celtics since they bought their team, but once one of the big 3 leaves, then they will be better. Your NOT a Lakers fan.

The lakers really are that good, I mean lets start with Kobe, hands down the best player in the leauge. Then you have derek fishcer, even though he looked sluggish guarding rondo he's a proven veteran. Then you have Lamar who is amazing but for some reason doesn't show it. The frontline of course Gasol unstopable scoring, and then Bynum a force on the boards and a double double a night. I think that this is one of the best teams that we have seen in a while, although they need some more bench-role players, maybe some proven veterans and a fiery young guy, I mean vuuciach just isn't cutting it. Others like Jordan Farmar sometimes do good and then slack, we need more consistincey, but other than that they are definetly among the best teams in the NBA.

nope...Pau Gasol should have stepped up his game during the series against the celtics...he wasn't aggressive and he always got blocked by a 6'11 Kevin Garnett...

The lakers seemed like they didn't have a low post presence after deciding to give the ball to kobe because their so called low post player is struggling...
