  1. I love the lawn at the Molson Amphitheatre.  I guess it depends on who you see, but if it's a good crowd, you end up making a lot of friends.  I've been twice when it was pouring rain, it only made it more fun - everyone comes together and is singing along.

The sound from the lawn is still great.  It is quite a bit aways from the stage, but they do have big screens as well.  I just suggest going early (really early depending on the concert) because you'll want to nab a good spot (not behind a pole).

    Hope this was helpful, enjoy.

  2. Every time I go I get lawns and have a great time. The sound is fine and you can see what is going on because of the big screens. It's like a festival atmosphere and definitely worth going.

  3. Your a fair distance from the stage, but you do get the sound, and are exposed to the elements, so rain is not your friend, as most are night concerts bring a jacket and blanket, coolers and backpacks will be inspected so no contraban is allowed.

The night air in the summer is fine, but get there during the Ex and into late August and early September and it gets cool fast the water temp in Lake Ontario is only 70-75 d F, now air wise that is nice, (but not if you swimming) that is what can make the breeze at night so much cooler than midtown or the burbs, worth it, is a judgement call, for a nice night out and a concert I would say fine, even a date if your comfortable in the situation, not to take the kids  but for the Kiddy things those are day issues, check the Molson Ampth listing, I think this years lineup is quite good.

I am a former chef, and live in Toronto and have gone a few times, not my cup of tea, and now being disabled once I am down I there for the night, if I were to venture it now, I would need to take my jammys and an alarm clock.
