Mar Thoma is believed to be the Apostle Thomas, and therefore might have been Jewish. But Mar Thoma Christians are spread mainly in Kerala, and also in Middle Asia. Certainly the Mar Thoma Christians of Kerala are indigenous, and NOT descended from the Jews, though there might have been some intermixture at some long ago date with some foreigners who might have had Jewish genes.
