Are the Navajo a Siberian people?

I heard that the athapaskan (excuse if spelled wrong) has been traced back to the Ket.

  2. Passing thru Siberia on the way to America does not make Navajo Siberians!

    At the time the ancestors of the Navajo and Apache split off from other  linguistically and genetically similar North Asian groups probably none of them lived in siberia due to glaciation.

    They probably lived further south!

    So the answer is NO!


  3. Native Americans are mostly descended from Siberian people over 10,000 years ago. I guess that means Navajos are Siberian, but there are theories that other groups may have reached America before the Siberians though they are controversial.
