Are the Olympics an Inspiration to you to do something?

Ive been watching the Olympics for a while now and it has inspired me loads. What do you think? Has it inspired you to do sport or get into sport?

  2. Nope. They only inspire me to be a fake. Look at the Olympics Opening Ceremony. What does that tell you? Let them see what they want to see. Asking a cute girl to lip sync. What does that tell you? Go for looks. Not the internal beauty. Oh one more thing, I'm from Singapore, our sportsman and sportswomen are imported. That tells my people to hire others to do our dirty laundry. Pretend to show concern when we actually don't give a d**n. Look at the Si Chuan disaster on May 12th. Because of the Olympics, no one gives a hoot about them anymore. So no they don't inspire me to do or get into sport. They only inspire me to be a fake. Put up a show. Let them see what they wanted to see, let them hear what they wanted to hear. Anything unpresentable or unpleasant to the eyes and ears, hide it somewhere else and bury it real deep. Very inspiring indeed...

  8. watching all the swimmers has kind of made me want to start swimming , but since i'm 14 already and am a cheerleader , i don't think that i could become olympic swimmer material .

  11. No, I can't do any sport due to a back injury.  But I've certainly enjoyed watching the Olympics so far  :-)

  12. No but Wimbledon did. Bought a racquet joined a club and severly pulled the ligaments in my ankle. "You're an old man. You got to do warm up at your age" my son said. So i'll give the Olympics inspiration a miss if thats ok.
