No, they are the home crowd the judges have favoured them throughout the competition and given them higher scores than they deserved because they based some of the points system on the applaud from the crowd. Therefore there is an increase in medals in this olympics because the point system is rigged for the chinese, they still suck and we Canadians and Americans are still the superior race. Considering their population compared to everyone else it isn't that great and they start their training at a very young age. They also invest more money into their olympics than most countries. Therefore they are not a super race and your question is very stereotypical.

I doubt it, because I've watched the Olympics since 1972 and it does not really matter how many gold medals you won, but rather how many total medals you have. All the young people from 3rd world countries are claiming China to be the best just because the beginning of the Olympics have sports that they excel at. China will get their butts handed to them by Great Britain, Russia, Germany, USA and Jamaica during track & field events. So what, they can have diving and gymnastics because that's where they "farm" and develop athletes by letting them live in cages, starving them and not letting them see their parents for years, just because the politburo, "party chairman" and secret police say so......

no because theres still tons of events left to be done. the chinese start at a young age like most americans but they dont have the leisure of having a relatively normal life. for instance chinese womens team. they are taken from their parents at age 3 to begin their training. only once a yr do they get to see their parents. with so much training in their lives you would have to expect that they would get alot of medals in the olympics. that is why they are currently leading the americans by one medal and have twice as much gold medals as the US team.

2)they have over a billion more people in their country than the second place medal winners (the US)

3)they pick out little kids to take to athletic farms and grow them into athletes, the kids have a full time job at age 8
