I think it sucks, we didn't need another PF, when Maxiell is trying to improve and become the next Ben Wallace. Also Kwame is not worth 4 million a year, they should've made a sign and trade deal for Ekafor.

I don't know how many years his contract is for but I think it's cheap unless it's for more than 3years. 4 years and over= you overpaid him.

$4 million is cheap an average player makes about $7 million I think they could have gotten him by trading their washing machine though

4 mill really isnt that much. it is well below the MLE. i think it was a decent signing. at the very least, kwame is a legit 7fter who can move, take up space, and grab rebounds. just dont expect him to score or do much with the ball. i can see him being a decent bench player.

Yes I do believe it's officially happening. I just read it on NBA.com.

I'm not sure what to make of it, Joe Dumars has always had an eye for players that he believe can help the team. I'm extremely skeptical about this move, but maybe he can do something for our Pistons.

I will say this though, if any organization can turn Kwame into something, it's Detroit.

I dont think so, i think its just Joe Dumars trying to shake things up.  Dumars is one of the best GMs in the league, and Kwame is one of the worst busts ever, so i dont know what they're thinking, but i really hope he doesnt get any playing time next year cause he's shiit

Hes a decent defender but yes, to pay him 4 million is a jump in the desperate direction because there are barely any good post players in the free agency.
