  1. good machines and far advanced beyond H.D. liquid cooled, overhead cam.

  2. They build a first class bike, as does Harley.  Nothing even comes close to The Motor Company to holding their value.  All I ride is Harley. Ever.

  3. The ONLY drawback I see with Victory is their very thin dealer network. Here in the states you could well be 250 or more miles from a dealer and need service or repair.

  4. I own a 2007 Victory Kingpin Tour.  So far, it is a very great bike.  I have only had it almost 3 months, but it has over 3000 miles and no issues.

    Oil, and gas so far.

Handling is superb for a heavy weight twin tourer.  It's not a sport bike, but that's not what I wanted.

It turns heads everywhere, and with the 100 cubic inches (stock) and Stage 1 kit (Tweak the ECU, K&N air filter, and better pipes), it outran by brother's 99 Soft-tail, with some rather extensive mods.

Both of us were two up, and neither of us would crow a lot about the top end.

Still, it's a great bike, really nice details, an unbelievable factory paint job, and an all around super machine.  Most importantly, my wife likes to ride it with me, and talks it up to everyone.  Now that makes a bike really worthwhile.  Now, if they could just hold a little resale value...

    ;-)

  5. Victory is considered the best V twin built in America.  They are the real deal having been designed  and built from scratch by the good folks at Polaris.  If an air-cooled V twin is worth the money is subjective.

  6. Victory has more than it's share of recalls. I just watched one of their commercials where they were bragging about their 10th year of building motorcycles. What about the garbage they put out in the 80's?

Yes they built a motor that will out perform a stock Harley. But their overall product still leaves a bit to be desired.

  7.   I have an appreciation for all motorcycles from all over the world

and in various styles.  Street, Enduro, Motorcross, etc....

Victory is really coming on strong with some great new engineering

and styles. Just look at their ratings. And when they do get there,

they will probably let you take a free test ride on any model that

they have available like they do here. I rode the Hammer and the

Jackpot and they were both great machines.

Just make sure you have your motorcycle license ready.....
