Ron Paul seems more like a libertarian. Interesting guy? Questions, speaks his mind. Not as hot as Obama or Palin...tougher on the eyes... If you liked him, who you gonna vote for now?

  1. I liked ron Paul. loved what he stood for. diddnt stand a chance though, diddnt get enough face time for the nonners that want the media to pick for em

and yes, i sway more torwards the conservitve side

and yes, RP was a libertarian running as a repub

  2. yeah, I liked what the guy had to say too..too bad they hushed him up and dragged him away so fast....

  3. i liked him back when and i like him now. He's a straight shooter and honest. The republicans will rue the day they scoffed at him and now, as an independent, my vote is going to obama.

  4. The liberal media stuck it to Ron Paul

  5. I liked a lot of what Ron Paul had to say, but he couldn't package it in a way that mainstream people could understand or digest.

In regards to the question, though, did Ron Paul even want to speak at the convention?  If he wasn't provided the opportunity, I speculate it's because he is not seen as being a good representative of mainstream Republican issues.

  6. THANK GOD SOMEONE WITH COMMON SENSE.

GOOGLE RON PAUL!!!!!!!.....WATCH THE COLBERT REPORT TONIGHT AT 11:30 EASTERN TIME.

  7. he is a libertarian not a republican.

  8. It's your party.  You should of know they lie and cheat and pick who they want.  Not who the people want.

  9. Who's Ron Paul?

  10. Ron Paul is a great thinker, so he just couldn't tow the party line while he was a Republican. The "liberal media" didn't harm Ron Paul. He was destroyed by "conservative" talk show hosts Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. They couldn't admit Paul's views were truly conservative (i.e., avoid nation-building and interference in sovereign countries affairs).

The bottom line is that our two-party political system doesn't respect independent thinkers like Paul. Unfortunately, the two-party system isn't going away anytime soon.
