  6. That's what they seem to be doing in the case of stripping down the GOP convention for the sake of helping peole affected by Hurricaine Gustav.

Are you serious?  Where have you been the last 8 years?  The GOP is all about symbolism when it comes to dealing with the American people.  When Katrina hit the Bush administration failed on a massive level and what does he do?  Does he work night and day to make sure that it doesn't happen again or make sure that those who lost everything have adequate?  Nope, he straps on a tool-belt and pretends to help build a house.  

    The last 8 years the GOP have been making promises to the American People but then either coming up with little, half-thought out plans or nothing at all.
