  1. Yes, the Wii and PS2 (or xBox) are different things and they will not work. It goes for the other way as well. I was thinking of that too, until I asked a Store rep and he said it wouldn't.

  3. it shouldnt be, sorry. u can try, but i doubt itll work. thats why they have rock band instruments specifically for the wii

  4. It is NOT because if you were to read in the User Manual of the Wii, you should see under USB ports a message saying that only USB connections made for Wii will work. This probably means that Nintendo built a type of system in the USB port that checks if the USB you are connecting to the Wii is authentic Wii-Made technology or not.
