Are the Rockband Track Packs (for wii) compatible with Rockband 2?

I have been interested in Rockband for some time, but now the second one is coming out, and i don't know which one i should get. i was thinking about buying the first one with the special edition stuff, then buying the second one without all the drums and stuff. But i don't want to buy the second one unless the bonus songs on the discs work with it because i like the bonus songs better... what should i do???

dont get rockband for wii. S****y. wait for the end of october, get guitar hero 4, all the instruments, download new songs, make your own songs and characters, everything rockband has and more!...also WAY better setlist

Seeing as that the Track Packs are minature Rock Band games with only 20 songs. You should just be able to buy that and play it with whatever instruments you want. It's a little cheaper.

But you can transport all of the Rock Band songs into Rock Band 2. Which is nice.

I'm sad though, I brok my drum pedal! =(
