I think they are seeing who fits that role right.. DJ Strawberry is more of a combo guard he only averaged 3 assists durning the summer league. Heres an article about Nash's Backup.

Until they develop their bench and change their offense from a run and gun to a half court it is going to be hard because the PG is going to have no one to run with

A back up for Nash WTF? they need a new point guard who is young and they need him now! Steve Nash is done, he did not get 1 MVP vote last season and he was the reigning MVP!!!!????

They were thinking about signing tyronn lue but they didnt....if he stayed healthy, he would ahve benn a great back-up for steve nash!
