Obviously 2 players did make the team (cousins/judd) because they are the only real departures from the 07 team.

Anyway go the pies glad they did the eagles by a 100 last weekend :)

I think we had this question the other day people!!

They are not tanking. Anyone who knows anything about John Worsfold would know that tanking would never be an option!! Obviously it will take time for the likes of Priddis to step up to replace Cuz & Juddy as players of this caliber are not just sitting around waiting to be asked to play football.

No, didn't you see how hard they tried last night? The definition of tanking is a team purposely losing games to gain draft picks. They nearly won the game, if they were tanking, they would have lost by a whole lot more! And also, what team tanks in the first half of the season, they're not going to give up that easily. They won't get the priority pick anyway because they have performed well in previous years, unlike Melbourne.

Again I pour scorn on this 'tanking' pile of c**p...a club does not sit there and think 'our seasons stuffed, so lets go for that draft pick'. it boggles the mind. The Eagles lost that game because the Swans are supreme fighters....your never safe with any lead against them.

Of course they need to replace Judd and Cousins, but it does not happen with bad results and a top draft priorities. it comes through smart recruiting and all that. Jeeeeesus. How simple is that to understand?

Its been leveled at Richmond and Hawthorn and that. They didnt suck and loose week after week because they wanted top draft picks, they sucked BECAUSE THEIR LIST STANK.
