Uncle Sam is trying to build a missle defense system at Russia's door steps (i.e. Georgia); Uncle Sam had Georgia tested Russia's patience by firing the first shot last Thursday while Puttin sat next to Bush in Olympic Opening; Uncle Sam sharply criticized Chinese human rights policy before arriving China for Beijing Game... all those make one think WHAT IS UNCLE SAM and NATO THINKING?

  1. Georgia did not fire the first shot.  Georgia went into a province of theirs named Ossetia, not Russia.  Yet, Georgia wants to become part of NATO and is for the West.  Russia fired the first shot!!!  China is a big boy and needs to hear that what they are doing is wrong, does that mean War?  No, it just means that we learn by criticism to do the right thing.

  2. not our fault!    Putin is an old ex-KGB intelligence officer...look it up!

according to him the cold War is not over!

  3. I agree with the op that uncle sam is provoking the world. Even if we are number 1 world power we still need to respect developing nations so we can earn respects. China culture has a conservative views of minding your own business but will help in times of needs. I havent really see alot of Russia or China critcizing anyone. Uncle sam really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut especially mccain is such an aggressive person. Hope he does not get elected.  I dont want any more wars.

  4. I admit that many Americans miss the "Good O'le days" of the Cold war, simply because they forgot being taught to hide under the desks in case of a nuclear attack. There was espionage, trickery, deep politics, and a constant need for advancement in technology.

This current war stuff is crazy-those people over there are worse than animals the way they blow up innocent people in mosques and in voting lines, etc.

We would like a good old fashiooned showdosn where you know who the enemy is and go pretty much head-to-head.

That's not going to happen the same as it was, but it could come back and be pretty strong.
