  1. Hi,

There are many ways to market a small business on the web.  You can buy banner ads, text links, or use PPC.  However, the best way is to get listed in a bunch of portals. Portals and directories are like phone books, and they often provide a lot of traffic because they tend to rank high on Google.

This portal is giving away a free business card holder for lising your business (I got mine a few days ago in the mail).  If you want to know about some other portals, just let me know.

  2. Not sure why this question is categorized under SEO, but I'll take a shot.

They are not fake in the sense that you they'll send you a diploma that says you graduated. A lot of places even let you put whatever course titles you want on your transcript and specify the grades you want.

They are TOTALLY fake in the sense that you won't be getting  a Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college. These degrees are not worth the paper they're printed on, and they're not going to make your resume look more impressive to employers.

You MAY be able to complete an AA from a community college if you go full time and double up on course load, go to summer school, etc. but that's only for a two-year degree, which I don't think is worth all that much as far as most jobs requiring college degrees are concerned.
