I mean...a woman on one of the tickets and it's NOT Hill-Rod. And Obama gets only a minor bump after the convention? WHat would they have done if she had no faults? They'd be crushed!

  1. US Dems Never Run Scared or get a sign of fear! We'll Run Dominance Again

  2. I don't think the media circus surrounding the Sarah Palin nomination has any Democrat worried at all.  RNC lawyers have just arrived in Alaska to perform a thorough search of Sarah's background.  There are media lawyers as well there.  What they find out will be release within the next few days.   Given the timing and nature of the news, we know if Sarah Palin will remain the VP for McCain.

  3. No they're not.  First and foremost Sarah Palin is under investigation for ethics violations due to the state chief of police not firing an officer for his involvement in a messy divorce to one of her daughters.  So she fired the chief.  Is this the "change" that McCain wants to bring to us?  Seems like it's the same tactics that Bush did with the attorney general for not getting rid of some of his people.

Everyone has faults, and some get more attention than others.  What's more shocking is that McCain didn't pick someone real.

She was a member of the independant party that wanted Alaska to seceed from the United States.  Isn't that more un-American than having a pregnant teenager?

  4. They do this because that's all they have got left.

Obama's supporters are insane, not one family is perfect.

  5. Yes, because they know there candidate is bad.(Hillary would have beat Mccain) They are trying to make the Republican ticket "seem" bad. (It's really not, Obama/Biden bad bad bad.)

    John Mccain For President

    Hillary 2012

  6. You have to remember this is not the year of landslide victories. Every one so far has been pretty much split down the middle. No one is running scared, only angry.

  7. I don't think so, it's more like the Democrats are finally beginning to attack their opponents, in both personal and political areas. The Republican party has been complaining about Obama's lack of experience for the past 6 months or more and then he chooses a candidate who seems to have equal or lesser experience than Obama. Obviously the Dems are gonna take advantage of that!

  8. Actually since the Dem convention and McShame's stupid VP pick Obama got a 10 pt bump. Get your facts straight before posting.

  9. Nope, they're a sign that Democrats are ready to dish out a little of what the Repugnant Party has been doing for the last few months.

Can't stand the heat...stay out of the kitchen.

  10. They are awefully quiet saying they are taking the high road. A bit convenient - but we all know how business is played.

  11. Scared, no. Believing that, since she is a political opponent that destroying her at all costs is acceptable, certainly.

  12. The fact is that Sarah Palin is a rising political star.  She's female, she's a republican, and she has a better chance at being the first female president than any female democrat out there.

She's a brand new ammunition growing stronger.  Mayor to Governor of Alaska and now a VP candidate for the U.S.A.  I think that is impressive and is enough to get the other side scared and defensive.

  13. Gee, it's too bad that we all have faults.  You people slay me.  You pick on Obama all the time and think that you are not fair game.  Come on!

    OBAMA'BIDEN '08  ARE YOU REGISTERED?

  14. No, it's a sign that Palin comes with a lot of baggage the McCain folks didn't do a good job at finding out ahead of time.

  15. Watch McCain get no bump after this disaster convention.

Hurricane Hanna will be sure to interrupt the media for Thursday.

The Republican's chickens are coming home to roost!

  16. No it's a sign that even we recognize that McCain chose the worst possible candidate to run with him. What did he do put everyones name in a hat and just pick one up while closing his eyes and doing no research?

  17. Re "Are the attacks on Palin a sign that the Dems are running scared?"

    Yes.

  18. yep

  19. Are you seriously serious. McCain chooses a VP that has and ethics probe going for abuse of power, she was ALL for the "bridge to no where" but now she says no, she has less experience than the same man (Obama) that McCain and his nitwits tried to slam with no success.

The list can go on, but in less than a week, we learn so much more about his VP pick, that it has some in his party questioning his reasoning behind it.

  20. Absolutely.  They are using any little item they can even personal matters like that of her 17 year old daughter to attack her.  Last friday they tried the "experience" issue and it back fired because people realized she had more experience then Obama.  So now its the campaign of personal destruction with the aim of removing her from the ticket before the end of the convention - its going to back fire on them and send McCain right into the white house - with Palin as VP.

  21. Of course they are, cowards.  Palin succeeded where Hillary failed, and it kills them.

  22. Yes I am terrified that this no nothing person might one day be president.  She might try to pass laws that will require all people who get pregnant get married.  Also she might outlaw birth control.  Yes I am afraid because the same people that voted for Bush might still be alive and dumb.

  23. No it's Palin's new reality. Are you actually THAT naive to think that she wouldn't have been closely scrutinized by EVERYONE?

She brought this on herself. If she actually thought that her personal life wouldn't have been put out there, she's as naive as you and shouldn't be the second most powerful person in the world.

  24. I think they're just overwhelmed with options to criticize her. [there's A LOT to choose from] This is the first time the Repubs have really been on THE DEFENSIVE in a while. Unfortunately, their best rebuttal to anything is that it's all the "liberal media" pushing "liberal smears."

Hands over ears.....la la la la la la la la

  25. As plain as the stain on Monica's blue dress!
