Unfortunately, yes.  But I think if my husband has to work, everyone else should, too.  If some employees get the day off, then everyone should!

Depends on the bank.  The Federal Reserve is though.

Most will definitely be closed. Certain banks, such as Commerce Bank, will have shortened hours.

but ya banks are closed for holidays. Somethings will still be open though and by law 1 drug store must be open so if you need anything and everything else is closed stop by one of the drug stores!

I guess it depends on the bank.  I thought banks and credit unions always closed on Columbus Day, but I noticed one of the banks in town open when I drove by it earlier.  Maybe some banks are working a 1/2 day today?

I bet the post office and other government agencies are closed today too.  I think holidays should be the same for everyone, regardless of industry!

Yes, most.....call your bank and find out. I do not even know if mine is open... Get a Debit card from the bank, that way, you will not have to worry...unless you have to put money in the bank, they have a place on the outside you can deposit in.
