Are the bmw z4 as bad as im hearing?

Question

going to look at a 2004 z4 2.4 petrol m/t in a few days...was wondering if im wasting my time - the people ive spoken to have told me to steer clear...id really appreciate some honest feedback... thanks!

The Z4 is an absolute dream car that has very few if any problems  You will recieve endless compliments and the driving experience is amazing. The Z4 is the perfect sports car if you're looking for luxury and performance.

First let me start by saying I own 5 Bimmers and am a real owner and fan of their vehicles.  My newest is a 2008 Z4, I bought primarily to use for BMW Club AutoX.  It is a well balanced great handling car. It is light and nimble enough that it doesn't need tons of HP to push it around.  I have yet to meet a Z4 owner who doesn't like their car.  Most of the haters of the Z4 have never owned one.  The Z4 has been compared to the Porsche Boxster and the Audi TT.  You can do numerous searches on the net as well as youtube and watch how the Z4 is more liked than both of its competitors.  

I have all series BMWs and the Z4 is the most fun to drive, when I leave my kids at home!

Very fun to drive. One of best handling roadsters.

Reliability is average. No bad, not the best.

It only seats 2 people and has a small trunk so it is not practical.

And it is RWD so it is slippery in rain.

It isn't bad but the 2.4l is the slowest. Just make sure to get a car history to make sure nothing went wrong with it in the past.

Don't get the car...it's being discontinued next year. Bad sales...most likely due to its ugliness. I drive a 6 series...get one of those...way better.

Z4's aren't that great

new ones are coming next year or sumthin

get a 3 series coupe/convertable
