  1. Yes they are real......minus the chain of course

  2. No, the chainsaws are not real. This is a really big saftey thing. Even if the chain is removed, they are drastic about everything else like the engine's gas catching fire or something like that. It sounds stupid, but in  way, they are being smart about it. Another thing is that if they are chasing you, a chainsaw is relativitly heavy, so it is kinda hard to "run" with... but idk about that... :/

But yeah the chainsaws are NOT real.

Hope This Helped You Out Man!

  3. I'm assuming you are talking about the halloween event at Universal Studios. It really depends, I would think that for stage shows they could use real ones but they might also just have a sound effect and use a fake one or one with the chain removed. As for the houses, I doubt very seriously that they could use a real one because they could get into lots of liablity issues and possibly injure someone.

  4. I can't say for Halloween horror night, basically because I never heard of it.  But having worked in a "haunted House" attraction before we used a real chain saw to chase people and scare them while wearing a Jason mask.  The chain was removed though, so it couldn't cut anything!  It just sounded menacing!
