Acting is one of my dream jobs.

I'm currently a major in journalism and was considering double majoring in theatre or minoring in it.

  1. A theatre minor, sorry, is pretty useless.

A major might be of help if you want to teach theatre...

  2. IT career-http://myitcareer.info/

  3. well, if you want to be an actor, journalism won't help Majoring in theatre wont help much either.  I am a retired theatre department chairperson, and I happen to know that a theatre major is not much help for someone who wants to be an actor. Now get into all the plays you can. If you can do that without majoring or minoring in theatre then do it.  Experience is the main thing. Most college theatre classes are of no  use to the actor, Acting is what the actor needs to do, then when you are out of school, professional classes.
