Are the cleveland cg gold irons worth buying?

i have cleveland cg2 irons and they are the best clubs i have ever owned. i do not know of the cg golds. but highly recommend the cg2s i am a 10 handicap.

I don't own them but I have hit them, and I though they felt nice. Soft, but still solid at impact. Cleveland is a solid brand.

No!  take the money and buy you some titleist golf clubs.

used at this time of the year , new if over 350  no . new models of irons etc . arriving febuary . may be an idea to wait . clevlands 06 o7  irons see what comes out for  08 might be worth the wait . if earlier irons are from shop ask custom fit loft and lie . this have a anti slice loft , will definatly have to be adjusted . pitching wedge 46 degrees , need 50 degree in there hit them up for a deal on 50 wedges

i play with the cleveland cg4s and when the cg gold came out i went to hit them at a demo day.  i was expecting more from them i guess, not much workability from right to left.  solid at impact(as all cleveland clubs i have ever hit were), forgiving, i did not think they hit as far as my cg4s.  if i were you, i would look into the cg4's..i have seen them on sale for as little as 299
