mostly yes as i am an egyptian and  most of our christian population are real descendents of pharaohs and nearly half of our muslim population are indeed descendents of the pharaohs as you see until nw in egypt in upper egypt exactly where i come from since thousands of years and until today we are not allowed to marry people from any other family which mmeans that upper egyptians or people who are mixed with us in larger cities and most of the copts carry our pharaohs bloodline not as the northern part of egypt whom where tottaly mixed with arabs and invaders
